1. In any zone of a space, the load inside varies throughout the 24 hours of the day. During the morning hours, the load will be more towards the east side and the otherwise towards the west side of the zone. With the use of Variable Refrigerant Flow technology, the air conditioning system capacity is adjusted dynamically to meet the actual load requirements of the inside spaces. This helps to save energy because the system consumes the energy which is actually required to match the indoor load requirements.


2. As the occupation of spaces and zones increases, the air conditioning load requirements in that zone shall also expand. VRF Technology allows the system to increase the capacity allocated to the zone, while maintaining the other zones at their current comfort conditions.


3. With the use of VRF Technology, the user gets the flexibility of individual control. The users of multiple zones of the same building or space can maintain their own settings, demand and requirements independent of each other.


4. VRF systems when used with the Heat Recovery Units (HRU), can perform simultaneous heating and cooling in two separate zones and yet save 50% on energy consumption. The HRU recovers the heat removed from the zones that are in the cooling mode and re-direct the same to the zones working on the heating mode.
