Generically a Cooling process involves:
Convection of heat by using Heat exchangers for absorbing it from the building and dissipating the same in to the environment.
Refrigerant for Conducting heat from heat exchanger at a higher temperature to heat exchanger at lower temperature.
Compression & Expansion of the refrigerant in order to change its temperatures and pressures
An air conditioning system can be designed to be used for:
- • Comfort Cooling in residential & commercial applications;
- • Process Cooling for pharmaceutical applications;
- • Precision Cooling for IT applications.
Ventilation is the process of changing or replacing air in any space. When a good ventilation system is combined with air conditioning system it becomes an efficient way to control temperature or remove any combination of moisture, odors, smoke, heat, dust, airborne bacteria, or carbon dioxide, and to replenish oxygen. Ventilation includes both the exchange of air with the outside as well as circulation of air within the building. It is one of the most important factors for maintaining acceptable Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) in buildings.
It is imperative that the appropriate air conditioning & ventilation system is designed efficiently and remains sufficient for the area being conditioned.
