COMFORT HEATING CABLES

Cables are twin conductor heating wires. The heating cable consists of two conductors with double insulation using advanced fluoropolymer for insulating the heating conductor; making it incredibly durable, strong and easy to lay on the sub floor and with in the slab.

Heating cables are good for Indoor Comfort & Outdoor Ice & Snow melting Applications.

Heating Cables are the most advanced and powerful Underfloor heating product fastened on the cleaned and levelled subfloor surface.
Heating Cables are ideal for installations which need higher heating output spread over irregularly shaped areas.
Powerful output of the Heating cable, makes it suitable to be laid at different spacings to give optimal output to complement the flooring finish or room interior design.
The Heating Cables can be used with all type of finished floor surfaces, whether you are choosing wooden laminate flooring, engineered wood, tiles, marbles, stone or any other concrete based floor surface.

General Installation Guidelines:

The following general installation guidelines must be observed while installing the Careco Heating Cables:

  • The subfloor surface must be smooth, cleaned of all debris and loose particle to avoid any damage to the heating mat.
  • The floor must be primed with PCC or equivalent material.
  • Furniture layout must be marked on the primed floor surface.
  • To secure the Heating cable to the subfloor you will need metal fixing strips. The metal fixing strips are laid out perpendicular to the heating element and fixed to the insulation board or the concrete floor using fixing nails or an adhesive.
  • The heating cable is then laid up and down the room (as per the layout drawing) and clipped into the metal fixing strip.
  • Always space the cable evenly to ensure an even distribution of heat in the floor.
  • Do not cut the cable.
  • Refer to the procedural picture below.

  • (Note: test the cables to ensure they have not been damaged and record the readings).
  • Advantages:

Higher Heating output of Heating Cables make them best suited product for giving a primary comfort heating solution for very cold areas as well.
Suitable for large irregular size of rooms and zones.
During installation, the spacing between the cables can be modified to suit the intricate designs as per the actual site conditions.
Every possibility of intelligent thermostatic control is available
